Chalkline's Str8-Jacket core was specifically developed for the extreme punishment gyms inflict on rope. The Str8-jacket core allows Chalkline to hold its shape and keeps the cover and core in balance, which virtually eliminates sheath slippage and flat spots. Chalkline is a UIAA Certified Dynamic climbing rope and provides a safe and easy belay through a variety of devices while still maintaining its shape. Chalkline Soft has the same construction as our traditional Chalkline but with a looser sheath, giving it a softer hand that is closer to a standard climbing rope.
