Idle air control valve 8M0181068 is for use on MerCruiser 3.0L MPI, V6 and V8 (305, 350 and 496 cid) sterndrive or inboard engines with ECM 555. Proper functioning idle air control valve controls the amount of air needed for your engine to maintain a steady idle rpm speed. Additional gaskets or seals may be required when replacing the IAC valve. See your owner's manual or service manual for more information.
