My history with snowboarding technical and lifestyle packs runs deep. I designed the original Burton Day Hiker years ago, and to this day it is one of our bestselling backpacks. Burton has board carrying packs completely dialed. But I've always wanted a leather, more spacious travel/everyday pack for all of my shit that I take with me, especially when I am on the road. I can't remember who introduced me to the concept, but I learned from a friend that photo packs are more roomy/cavernous. And if you rip out all of the dividers in there for holding lenses etc., you end up with a very high-volume and functional doggy-style entry pack. Trust me, it really works and you still have plenty of pockets for anything you would ever want on the inside or outside accessibility. The benefits of waterproof leather/Cordura construction make this pretty much the ultimate day in, day out/travel pack that I have ever seen.
