Outdoor Research was founded on the X-Gaiter. Our first ever product, inspired by a frostbite fail on Denali, was the first of its kind. Built for the most extreme weather and encapsulated by a rugged, insulated interior with an easily-adjustable, and easy-to-repair instep strap. So naturally, the 2019 version of this industry-revolutionizing classic builds off this legacy of alpine protection with a few improvements: Unprecedented warmth, streamlined fit with minimal bulk, and an incredibly lightweight construction that's versatile enough to suit your favorite seasons and mountain sports.
