The DYNAFIT Pintech binding P49 was developed for skimo racers and offers the highest performance both uphill and down at a minimal weight. In the development of the 49-gram-light P49, DYNAFIT engineers set themselves free of old conventions and newly interpreted the functionality between binding and boot. Out of that came the innovative Pintech System consisting of the P49 Binding and the DNA PINTECH by Pierre Gignoux ski touring boot. That system to some extent turned upside down the principle of pins and inserts. Together, this revolutionary system takes skimo racing to a new level. Thanks to the perfect interplay of the P49 Binding's Guided Notch Entry and the dynamic, spring-loaded pins (Ejector Pins) in the boot, stepping into the binding is child's play. The P49 Binding is released with one simple, quick hand motion, leaving the ski directly in your hand. The P49 thus enables the quickest transition in the industry from uphill to downhill!
