Accessibility Statement

August 2026Effective August 19, 2026

Locally.com, Inc. is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We regard accessibility as part of building a shopping experience that works for everyone, and we are actively working to improve it.

Measures to support accessibility

Locally.com takes the following measures to support accessibility:

  • Accessibility is considered as part of our design and development process for new features.
  • We use semantic HTML, text alternatives for images, and keyboard-navigable interfaces.
  • We review accessibility as part of significant changes to the site.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Locally.com aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Locally.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We have not yet completed a formal third-party evaluation, and we describe the limitations we know about below.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you encounter an issue not listed here.

  1. Third-party product and retailer content. Product images, descriptions, and specifications are supplied by brands and retailers. We do not control this content and cannot guarantee that every image has a meaningful text alternative or that every description is screen-reader friendly. Alternative: contact us and we will help you get the product information you need, and we will raise the issue with the supplying brand or retailer.
  2. Store-supplied information. Store hours, addresses, and inventory come from retailer systems and may be presented inconsistently.
  3. No completed formal audit. We have not yet had the site independently evaluated against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, so there may be issues we are not aware of.
  4. Skip navigation. Some pages may not yet offer a “skip to main content” link, which makes keyboard navigation slower.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

Locally.com is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) on desktop and mobile, used with current assistive technologies such as screen readers and browser zoom. We have not yet formally tested specific browser and assistive-technology combinations.

Technical specifications

Accessibility of Locally.com relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

Assessment approach

Locally.com assessed the accessibility of this website by self-evaluation.
