Our most active waterproof shells, the Stormstride Pants combine exceptionally soft, quiet and supple fabric with motion-oriented patterning to forge lightweight, all-weather pants designed specifically for backcountry touring in unpredictable conditions. With a precise fit that allows the ultimate freedom to move, they provide H2No Performance Standard protection via a 3-layer, 100% nylon (54% recycled) plain weave fabric that has two-way stretch and a limber, forgiving feel. A DWR (durable water repellent) finish on the exterior prevents saturation and increases abrasion resistance while the interior has a soft polyester knit backer lining that manages moisture and glides smoothly over baselayers. Designed for motion, the waist has a low-profile waistband with belt loops and customizable OppoSet adjustment for a personalized fit. Gaiters create a tenacious bond to seal out snow yet allow easy access to make buckle adjustments or change from downhill to uphill mode; a three-setting snap adjustment and a zipper at the bottom hem lets you fine-tune the gaiter‚s fit to match the size of your boot‚s cuff. Tall, crampon-compatible scuff guards reinforce the inside of the legs and the bottom hem and outer-thigh vents quickly release heat to keep you cool on long climbs. The two thigh pockets secure with zippers to hold your essentials; they‚re positioned for easy access, even while wearing a hipbelt or harness. Includes an embedded RECCO avalanche rescue reflector.
