From the brand's inception, the stores behind Agio knew that Locally was a natural partnership.
Agio was designed by some of the baby industry's top gear gurus, all members of the baby specialty association Brixy. The designers wanted to make a collection built around the feedback they hear from the growing families with whom they work. Peg Perego, which — like each Brixy member baby store — is a family-owned business, was able to meet Brixy's wishes while manufacturing the Agio lineup in Italy. (Take that, tariffs!) Locally, the key to sharing Agio with families, connects busy shoppers with the Agio suite and experienced local retailers on Agio's site. Locally lets shoppers know they're in expert hands before they even put down their phones.
Even with massive amounts of information at our fingertips, sometimes it is just important to see details in person. The Agio line of strollers was developed for parents who enjoy luxury products, and seeing is believing. Locally helps connect interested caregivers to the closest local store where they can touch, feel, and test drive Agio so they can see for themselves the beauty of this custom line.
-Molly Ging, Owner of The Little Seedling in Ann Arbor, MI
It has been an intense process and a labor of love for everyone involved. And the Brixy store owners want to make sure that families love Agio as much as they do.
To understand why Agio uses the Locally tool suite, it helps to know how and why Agio was designed.
The network of independent baby shops known as Brixy created a committee comprised of some of the top baby gear experts in the industry. These store owners toiled behind the scenes on a line just for Brixy stores. The line had to meet all of the following criteria:
- high-quality
- reasonably priced
- rich with features (both function and safety) often requested by families in-store
- beautifully designed
- built by a reputable company &/or factory
- all new branding with fashions &/or features not available in other lines
- only available to Brixy member stores
- unable to be sold on Amazon or other 3rd party sites
- unique brand imagery
Agio is Brixy's brand so we want it to be the gold standard for every brand that wants to work with specialty stores. The Locally buttons and map are a critical part of the equation because they empower the customer to shop local.
-Mark Simon, Executive Director, Brixy
The core goal of the Agio line is to bring customers into a store for the full Agio experience. Parents should test the Nido Infant Car Seat and Kinect Convertible Car Seat in their vehicle, push and fold the strollers, and learn the ins and outs of each piece in the collection. In addition to the core ensemble of two Car Seats, two Strollers, & a Highchair, the Agio line is rich with add-on opportunities. Families can customize their Agio purchase with items like the Carrycot Bassinet, Bassinet Stand, coordinating All Day Diaper Bag, & an assortment of compatible Peg Perego accessories.
