The seamless, 2.4-mm Red Wing leather upper (tanned in the US) wears for years, conditions like a dream, and sheds water reliably. A GORE-TEX insert, the Vasque Pyrenees classic sole (styled on the original), and an impeccable tradition in the mountains- the Sundowner GTX is the classic mountain boot.
