Product Information

For all day adventures, crack climbing and smearing on dime edges; the Techno X redefines the ability to combine comfort with power in a flat-lasted shoe. From face climbing on dime edges to jamming splitter cracks and smearing on slabs, the Techno Pro is a technical, performance-driven rock shoe for all day adventure. This flat-lasted shoe employs SCARPA's bi-tension active randing that directs power to the front of the shoe without sacrificing your toenails. Upper construction combines suede with key areas of Micro-suede synthetic leather, which conforms to your foot but won't stretch out over time. Extended randing offers excellent coverage and protection, while Vibram XS Edge rubber excels for climbing on thin edges and cracks. The flatter the shoe, the closer to your measured size; the more downturned/aggressive the shoe, the more you'll want to downsize. The best fit is comparative between sizes and only you will be able to judge that, though an experience climber could offer good insights to your fit. If you are unsure of your correct size, call us today at 970-468-5687 or email us at sales@telemarkski.com for expert fit assistance. If it feels painful, it may break in... or it may not. Pain sucks as a rule of thumb though and makes climbing miserable. Only you can judge what's 'acceptable' discomfort. Good fitting rock shoes shouldn't necessarily be 'comfortable' by walking/running shoe standards. Look for looseness/bagginess in the toes and heel. Bagginess can mean 'slop' when climbing with feet perspiring, etc. Toes should completely fill the toebox. Heel should feel solid; like they won't pull off if heel hooking.Any foot movement in new shoes will mean sloppy fit when broken in. Scarpa Sizing Chart Still Unsure on Sizing?
